Arcella Banana Company (ABC) is an Australian family owned and managed company whose employers share vast knowledge in the ripening and merchandising of bananas. The company focus is on providing service with integrity to all their buyers and growers and is currently a leading banana merchant in the Sydney Markets at Flemington.
Patrick Arcella, Managing Director of Arcella Banana Company Pty.Ltd. has a history of retail experience since 1968, starting with his family mixed business in Leichardt. Pat ventured into bananas in 1974 at the old Haymarket site in Sydney.
Pat sees himself as a “merchant at heart” and prides himself on providing quality bananas and service to his customers, as well as having good relationships with growers, buyers and those who work with him.

ABC's banana farm in Tully owns the Tropicana brand, which is a premium banana carton, packed to special specifications and standards to satisfy our customer requirements
Because of Australias diverse weather conditions in the tropics, ABC has a wide spread of growers from Cairns to Kennedy in the far north Queensland and a proportion of their produce coming from Northern New South Wales. This diversification and spread of growers guarantees continual supply even when disaster strikes in a particular area.
